BRADY TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 16, 2006

A regular meeting of the Brady Township Planning Commission was held on November 16, 2006 commencing at 7:30 p.m.

Members present: Chairman Gary Miller

                              Todd Weddon

                              Helen McCrumb

                              Mike Henderson

                              Ed Haberle

Absent: Jan Becker and Kathy Guthrie.                                                                          

Also attending: none.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mike Henderson made a motion to approve the minutes of September 21, 2006 as published. Todd Weddon supported, and the motion was carried unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS

None

REPORTS

ZBA member, Ed Haberle, reported that there have been few (3) variance requests this year, but that a ZBA meeting is scheduled this month to consider a variance request for the height restrictions for a new residential building. It was agreed that the variance standards as set down in Article 23.8 of the Zoning Ordinances should be met.

COMMENTS

Vice-Chairman Todd Weddon raised the idea of having a local law enforcement officer for Brady Township. He stated that a co-operative with other townships might be considered or a special law enforcement millage might be allowed for this purpose.

The next regular meeting is set for February 15, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.

Mike Henderson made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Todd Weddon seconded, and the motion was carried unanimously.
