BRADY TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
June 05, 2007
Members Present: Supervisor Philport, Clerk Vermeulen, Treasurer Allgaier and Trustees Vander Kamp and Guthrie.
Others Present: None.
Call to Order and Pledge: Philport called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. at the Brady Township Hall. The invocation was given by Vermeulen. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
** Agenda Approval: The Agenda was approved by a motion from Vermeulen and seconded by Allgaier. Motion Carried.
** Approval of Consent Agenda: The consent agenda was approved by a motion from Vermeulen and seconded by VanderKamp. Motion Carried.
a. Approval of the minutes of the 5/01/07 Regular meeting.
b. Approval of Treasurer and Budget Reports
c. Approval of Disbursements and Transfers
d. Communications

Citizens Time: None.
SCHEDULED AGENDA ITEMS:
** A. Water Softener for Hall: Philport reported that our best investment would be a unit from Fliers at a cost of $1755. A motion was made by Vermeulen and seconded by Guthrie to purchase this water softener system from Fliers. Motion Carried
** B. Copy Machine. Allgaier & Vermeulen explained the copiers they had researched. A motion was made by Guthrie and seconded by VanderKamp to approve up to $5100 for the purchase of a new copy machine with final decision of model to be made by Allgaier & Vermeulen. Motion Carried.

C. Road Contracts for 2007: Guthrie questioned a problem concerning the sewer and KCRC on Highview. Philport stated that this is not the fault of KCRC or Brady. He will follow up with the KCRC. Philport then gave a report on our road projects for this year and the budget covering them. A motion was made by Guthrie and seconded by VanderKamp to approve these road projects from our budget. Motion Carried.
D. South County Sewer & Water Authority Update: Philport reported on miscellaneous sewer activities.
E. South Kalamazoo County Fire Authority Update
: Philport reported that there has been no change in the last 30 days.Unfinished Business: Vermeulen asked for ideas to get completion on the carpeting in the entryway. She was advised to write a letter stating that we will pursue legal help if necessary to complete this job.
New Business: HBs 4780-4788 were discussed and opposition to them expressed.
Report of Board Members: Allgaier reported that the tax bills are in process and will be out by July 1st.
** Adjournment: With there being no further business, a motion was made at 8:40 P.M. by Vermeulen and seconded by VanderKamp to adjourn the meeting. Motion Carried.
