BRADY TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
August 4, 2009
Members Present: Clerk Vermeulen, Treasurer Allgaier, and Trustees VanderKamp and Smith.
Absent: Supervisor Philport.
Others Present: None
Call to Order : Vermeulen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. at the Brady Township Hall. She then appointed Allgaier to be the moderator in the Supervisors absence.
** Agenda Approval: The Agenda was approved as printed by a motion from Vermeulen and seconded by VanderKamp. Motion Carried.
** Approval of Consent Agenda: The Consent Agenda was approved as printed by a motion from VanderKamp and seconded by Smith.
1. Approval of 7/07/09 regular meeting minutes.
2. Approval of Budget Report
3. Approval of Disbursements and Transfers
4. Communications.

SCHEDULED AGENDA ITEMS:
A. Fall District Meeting 2+1: Vermeulen informed all of the Board members of the upcoming MTA Fall District Meeting in September. If two registrations are made, the third is free. Notify her if you wish to attend this meeting.
B. Cemetery Fence & Cleanup: Vermeulen reported that Gary Gray is working on replacing and/or repairing and painting the fence at the deDie Richardson cemetery, as agreed we would maintain.
C. Report of P/C – ZBA: Smith reported that the master plan update copies from the P/C are out to the necessary reviewing agencies. VanderKamp reported on the recent ZBA meeting and that one extension was granted, and one Variance request was denied. Vermeulen reported that we will be looking at a new Variance application form for review and updating.
Unfinished Business: None
** New Business: Allgaier reported on a request from Midwest Energy for a letter of support in their application for stimulus money from the federal government for expanding their high speed wireless broadband internet. A motion was made by Vermeulen and seconded by VanderKamp to send the proposed letter of support to them, after checking with our attorney to make sure there would be no legal problems with it. Motion Carried.
Report of Board Members: VanderKamp gave on update on the MidLink facility. Vermeulen read a thank you letter from the Vicksburg Historic Society for our financial support.
** Adjournment: With there being no further business, a motion was made at 8:05 P.M. by Vermeulen and seconded by VanderKamp to adjourn the meeting. Motion Carried.
