BRADY TOWNSHIP ANNUAL MEETING

March 03, 2009

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Supervisor Philport, Clerk Vermeulen, Treasurer Allgaier, and Trustee Vander Kamp. Absent: Trustee Guthrie.

OTHERS PRESENT: Rob Richardson

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Brady Township Hall by Supervisor Philport. The invocation was given by Vermeulen, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

  **Minutes of 2008 Annual Meeting: Vermeulen gave an overview of the minutes of the 2008 Annual Meeting. A motion was made by Vermeulen and seconded by VanderKamp to approve these minutes as printed. Motion Carried.

Public Hearing for Proposed 2009-2010 Budget:

**Philport opened the Public Hearing at 7:05. He then updated on the proposed budget for 2009-2010. R. Richardson questioned road budget cuts. Philport updated on projects. Richardson requested re-gravelling for Z Ave East of 24^th St. A motion was made by VanderKamp and seconded by Vermeulen to approve this budget for presentation. Motion Carried.

**Close of Public Hearing: A motion was made by Vermeulen and seconded by Allgaier to close this public hearing at 7:22 p.m. Motion Carried.

Report of Township Officials: Various reports were given by officials.

  **There being no other business, Vermeulen made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Allgaier at 7:25 p.m. Motion Carried.
